                               RESOLUTION NO. 20788
                 
                 
                  A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ADMINISTRATOR OF
                  THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT TO EXECUTE AND THE
                  CITY FINANCE OFFICER TO ATTEST AN AGREEMENT
                  WITH FIRST PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, RELATIVE TO
                  THE INSTALLATION OF A PEDESTRIAN FLASHER
                  SIGNAL ON McCALLIE AVENUE.

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Administrator of the Public 
Works
       Department and the City Finance Officer be and are hereby
       authorized to execute and attest, respectively, an Agreement with 

       First Presbyterian Church for the City through its Traffic
       Engineering Division, agents and/or contractors to design, 
install
       and thereafter maintain a pedestrian flasher signal on McCallie
       Avenue three hundred feet (300') west of Douglas Street, with
       First Presbyterian Church agreeing to pay the City of Chattanooga 

       for the cost of the traffic signs, signals, poles and associated
       equipment, for a total cost not to exceed $10,721.36.
